Northern Illinois University will hold a Community Gathering in Honor of Toni Keller at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom of the Holmes Student Center. Participants are invited to begin assembling at 5:30 p.m. Live video of the event will be streamed at today.niu.edu.
NIU is open for normal operations and classes are in session. Despite media reports to the contrary, NIU is not on “lockdown.” NIU has implemented heightened campus safety and security measures that include the availability of 24-hour security escorts, extended hours for the Late Night Ride Service and restricted access to the residence halls.
