Annette always does an outstanding job with a great attitude. Recently we have had a few significant purchases that came together very late in the fiscal year that required a very quick turnaround. Annette was fantastic to work with throughout the process and was able to execute the POs timely, which will ultimately result in a better campus experience for NIU students.

On the last day of classes Margee went out of her way to accommodate several students who were not able to locate a printer with enough paper to complete an engineering project. Margee stopped what she was doing to find someone who could unlock the nearest printer. The students had been two building and a host of printers that were empty or had no paper. Thank you, Margee, for going out of your way to take care of our students no matter how odd or small the ask.

On Tuesday, a high school student and his aunt were visiting campus but hadn’t scheduled a formal prospective student tour. Alex volunteered his time to walk them around campus, all the way to the football stadium and Patterson Complex. Thanks for making this prospective student feel welcome, Alex!
As a new employee, Laurie has helped me tremendously over the last year. She graciously answers all my question no matter how many times I pop into her office throughout the day. She has also shared proactive student contact emails and reminders, which have made me aware of important touchpoints and deadlines for students–not to mention the time saved for not having to create all new email templates. She’s a great teammate and is always reliable, hard working, and dedicated to her students!
Diane’s work on the Blackboard Ultra Transition Academy has been outstanding. She continues to improve the academy’s design as new features emerge. She loves working with her academy partners. She’s an excellent project manager and the 4th iteration of the academy started flawlessly.

She is always quick to respond to emails, willing to help students get paperwork submitted in a timely manner and always enters data into the system quickly to ensure that students are paid in a timely manner. Thank you, Aimee!

Kathleen jumped in to help our program with its year-end event, ordering awards, ordering food and troubleshooting problems that came up throughout the process (including the morning of the event). Kathleen worked across departments in our division to ensure we had a successful event despite it not being her direct job. Thank you, Kathleen!
