Bill McCoy is one of the most visible, student-driven people that I know on campus. I have seen the way that he will go out of his way to help students who need help to help make them successful at Northern Illinois University. I am proud to work with him as I am sure that the other people that interact with him day-to-day are as well.

Everyone in the Graduate School deserves thanks for the tremendous work they do supporting our graduate students from application through graduation and for helping departments advise students. Thank you for providing fellowship opportunities and other support, for seeing our international students through complex paperwork, and for helping advisors with all the questions that arise!

I don’t know all their names, one is Maurice, but all the guys who do delivery for Materials Management are GREAT! Our mailman is wonderful, the cheerful fellow that usually delivers our UPS special deliveries, and Maurice, who delivers our Central Stores orders with a smile and great attitude! We look forward to seeing them everyday! Thank you gentlemen!
Tim is an amazing instructor. He truly embodies what we want at this university. He teaches his students not only the content for the class, but actually takes the time to care for his students and takes an interest in their personal and academic achievements. I know that he does an amazing job with students and I have heard nothing but positive comments about him. Keep up the great work, Tim. You really are a light in this department and a true Huskie.
Sheree is the definition of being student centered. She takes time out of her busy day to meet with students and address any questions and helps them with any confusion that they may have. Huskies continue to go to SILD because of her amazing presence. Keep up the great work, Sheree. Know that your work is highly appreciated!
Whenever our departments need assistance with announcements and our website, needs that are sometimes emergent in nature, you all work hard to make sure our needs are met so the campus community can have access to important information. You always come through and it’s greatly appreciated!

Tracy and many others invested a great deal of time preparing for and hosting the NIU Hackathon. It was well attended and organized. Also, those who participated (volunteers included) truly enjoyed the event and indicated they would come back next year. Way to go Tracy!
