Mission Possible Tutoring is back this fall

October 11, 2021

NIU faculty and staff can receive free, online tutoring for their children in first- through sixth-grades, thanks to the partnership between the College of Education and the Employee Assistance Program.

Mission Possible Tutoring and Homework Help connects elementary school students with teacher-licensure candidates who are pursuing Master of Arts in Teaching degrees through the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

The services, available via Microsoft Teams, include pre-scheduled (one-hour per student) tutoring support for assistance with homework. Our tutors will be available starting Monday, Oct. 18. This fall we have limited hours. Available times will be Monday and Wednesday, 4 to 5 p.m., Tuesday 3 to 4 p.m., and Thursday 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
