On Friday, I witnessed two amazing women in action as they came to the aid of a parent of a prospective student who wasn’t feeling well due to a medical condition. Teresa Harrington stayed with the guest, holding her, talking to her and calming her while Sarah Goshko brought first-aid and water, sought assistance from HSC administration and NIU Public Safety, and went to locate the guest’s daughter. Their quick response, calm demeanor and respect for the guests’ wishes made her, and her daughter, feel more comfortable as the episode passed. #Huskiesinaction.
