Brian McCormick receives Moss Kanter Award for Excellence

Assistant Professor Brian McCormick, Department of Management, and his co-authors recently received the 2017 Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research. Their article, “My family made me do it: A cross-domain, self-regulatory perspective on antecedents to abusive supervision,” was published in 2016 in the Academy of Management Journal.

Named in honor of Rosabeth Moss Kanter, who has been identified as the most influential contributor to modern literature on work and family, the Kanter Award is given for the best research paper published during the year. Articles are selected through a rigorous and multi-stage review process involving over 2,500 articles published in 65 leading English-language journals from around the world.
