Huskie spirit will be on full display on campus and in DeKalb next week as NIU celebrates its 111th Homecoming.
The fun begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, with “Paint the Town” in downtown DeKalb and continues through 3 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at the NPHC Dance, held in the Campus Recreation Center.
Between those events will come the Kick Off Rally in Central Park, the Yell Like Hell competition in the NIU Convocation Center, the nighttime “Northern Lights” parade through campus, and, of course, the election of the Homecoming royalty and Saturday afternoon’s football game versus Kent State.
