Workshop focuses on meeting the needs of those who are differently abled

June 6, 2017

An interactive workshop designed for supervisors and faculty to learn about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will be facilitated by Susan Swegle, assistant director of Training, Education and Outreach Programs on Tuesday, June 27, from 1-3 p.m., in Altgeld Hall, Room 125. This workshop will provide information on protected categories, when to contact the ADA Coordinator for assistance and how to simplify the process of assisting individuals who are differently abled.

This class is open to anyone interested in learning more about the ADA but is intended for those who supervise employees or instruct students.
