As part of its commitment to providing their customers with best-in-class security, Qualtrics — the online survey tool provider for NIU — is currently transitioning their systems to HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure). HTTPS is the start of all Web addresses.
Qualtrics will be implementing this security transition on Monday, June 12. It will prevent users from accessing NIU’s instance of the Qualtrics survey tool via regular internet addresses or URLs (Uniform Resource Locator) that include “www.”
Ongoing, all access to Qualtrics will require a secure internet address that incorporates HTTPS. Our current branded URL of niu.qualtrics.com will continue to work as intended but if users try to enter Qualtrics via www.niu.qualtrics.com they will receive an error message.
