The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites the NIU community to participate in an upcoming CLAS Research Forum event, “Brexit, Nationalism and Extremism: The Future of the European Union.”
The event is scheduled for Monday, April 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Cole Hall Auditorium.
Faculty panelists include Sean Farrell (History), Kathleen Renk (English), Michael Clark (Political Science), Stephen Vilaseca (Foreign Languages and Literatures) and moderator Brian Sandberg, associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
This event will provide an opportunity for faculty experts to discuss issues related to Brexit, the French presidential elections, Catalan separatist and nationalist movements across Europe. The event is free and open to the campus community and general public.
