Americans with Disabilities Act: How to meet the needs of differently abled people

Affirmative Action and Equity Compliance will be hosting “Meeting the Needs of Those Who are Differently Abled” on Tuesday, March 28, 1-2:30 p.m. in the Holmes Student Center, University Suite.

Supervisors and faculty will learn about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Specifically, they will learn about what the protected categories are, when to contact the ADA coordinator for assistance and how to simplify the process of assisting individuals who are differently abled.

This class is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Americans with Disabilities Act but, is directed to those who supervise employees or instruct and/or teach students.
