USOAR deadline extended

February 20, 2017

Looking to gain experience that will prepare you for your future career? Interested in building your skills in communication and critical thinking, two of the most sought-after qualities for today’s employers? If you answered yes, then consider taking advantage of the extended USOAR deadline.

The Undergraduate Special Opportunities in Artistry and Research (USOAR) program is for students of all majors who are looking for a more independent opportunity to engage in their own research and artistry projects. Awards of up to $2,500 support original research and creative activities by undergraduates working with a faculty mentor. USOAR recipients have a year to complete their projects. USOAR proposals are currently being accepted and have an extended deadline of Wednesday, Feb. 22. Application materials can be found here
