NIU’s refreshed and updated Communication Standards for Institutional Brand Identity have been published on the Division of Marketing and Communications’ website. The purpose of these standards is to provide clear direction to the campus on how we communicate in a cohesive manner to build awareness about and trust in our university and the value of an NIU education.
The guide addresses the different aspects of how we communicate, including how to build communications that deliver on our brand promise and tagline, “Your Future. Our Focus,” how to use the university brand voice and tone, and how to use the university logos, brand colors and other visual elements.
Per Program Prioritization recommendations, there will also be a section providing templates for university communicators coming online soon. The website also includes important tools like university-branded PowerPoint templates and email signatures.
