The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will present a roundtable discussion about electoral politics and democracy in America from 4:30-6 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the Montgomery Auditorium.
This CLAS Research Forum program will include short, 5-7 minute presentations by the following faculty members followed by discussion: Matt Streb (Political Science), Electoral College Math; Beatrix Hoffman (History), What Happened to Health Care?; Simón Weffer (Sociology), Protests and Racial Issues in American Politics; Kenton Clymer (History), Foreign Relations in American Politics; Scot Schraufnagel (Political Science), The Costs of Voting and Voter Turnout; and Kerry Ferris (Sociology), Celebrity in American Politics.
