Program Prioritization town hall scheduled April 27

baker-town-hallThe second town hall meeting of the spring semester will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in the Regency Room of the Holmes Student Center.

NIU President Doug Baker will host the meeting which will focus primarily on the university’s Program Prioritization initiative. President Baker will be joined by Executive Vice President and Provost Lisa Freeman and other members of the senior cabinet to review the current status of the Program Prioritization process and discuss next steps.

As with past town halls, the university community is invited to submit questions in advance of the event. Submitted questions along with inquires brought up during the town hall will be addressed by President Baker and event participants. Questions can be submitted via an online form.

In keeping with the importance of this event, the university has authorized release time for employee attendance at this event, including hourly Operating Staff, subject to operational requirements. Supervisors have been asked to facilitate participation for those planning to attend.

For faculty and staff unable to attend the event in person, the town hall meetings will be streamed online through Adobe Connect, NIU Today and on digital Channel 20.1 on the campus cable television system.
