Residence Hall Association to host RHA Week

Residence Hall AssociationNIU’s Residence Hall Association will host Spring 2016 RHA Week: “Home Away From Home.”

RHA wants to make sure that all residents feel at home when living on campus at NIU! Bring your friends to these events:

  • All residents are encouraged to attend the General Assembly Meeting at 9 p.m. Monday, March 28, in the New Hall Community Center Swing Space.
  • Come out to “Pet Your Stress Away!” from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in the Northeast/Southeast rooms in Neptune Central. The event will feature therapy dogs, coloring, stress ball making and a service project (sponsored by the National Residence Hall Honorary) to make dog toys to donate to local animal shelter Tails.
  • Make Wednesday, March 30, a night-in at Stevenson in the central lobby area from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Activities include a showing of “Charlie’s Angels,” board games and snacks. Residents are encouraged to wear their pajamas, bring a blanket or stuffed animal, and get ready to relax and have fun at this event.
  • Need to add some personality to your residence hall room? Come to the New Hall Community Center Swing Space from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 31, and make decorative throw pillows and magazine collage lanterns and decorate coffee mugs, picture frames, bulletin board and more. All supplies and instructions are provided at the event.
