NIU’s PI Academy for Research & Engagement will present “Federal Engagement, Innovation, and the NIU Foundation” from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, March 25, in Altgeld Hall 315.
This session will introduce participants to three university units that can assist with development of research, scholarship and artistry.
- The Office of Federal Relations can help faculty engage with the federal government on policy, research and service.
- The Office of Innovation can help foster new ideas and support intellectual property protection and development
- The NIU Foundation can put faculty in touch with many other sources of support for their work.
Guest speakers include Anna Quider, director of Federal Relations at NIU; Rena Cotsones, associate vice president for Engagement and Innovation Partnerships; and Alberta Solfisburg, director of Development Operations.
