What do former President Bill Clinton, astronaut Anne McClain, author John Steinbeck and Google founder Sergey Brin have in common?

They have all been recipients of some of the nation’s most prestigious scholarships.

Students of all majors who want to learn how to apply to these national and international scholarships are invited to attend a presentation by Anna Quider, director of Federal Relations for NIU and a Marshall Scholar.

Quider will provide general information on the importance of considering prestigious scholarships and also will go into detail about these scholarships in STEM fields. As the recipient of a National Science Foundation fellowship, Quider has firsthand familiarity with applying for, and experiencing, such programs.

Her presentation takes place at 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, in Altgeld Hall 100.
