Tuesday at OHANA: Being (an Undocumented) American

OHANA!Student leaders of the OHANA! Peer Mentor Program and guest speaker/concert pianist Tereza Lee will present “Being (an Undocumented) American” in the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall of the NIU Music Building.

Lee’s story as an undocumented American inspired Sen. Dick Durbin to create legislation for what would later evolve into the DREAM Act.

Lee is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Manhattan School of Music. She has won numerous awards for her music and has played at well-known venues such as Carnegie Hall and Steinway Hall.
