Tuesday at OHANA: World War II incarceration camps

OHANA!Student leaders of the OHANA! Peer Mentor Program and guest speaker Takako Day will present “Show Me the Way to Go Home: World War II Incarceration Camps” at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, during the NIU Asian American Center’s “OHANA!” event.

Day has 40 years of experience as an award-winning writer, focusing on minority- and immigration-related issues in the United States.

All are welcome at the Capitol Room of the Holmes Student Center. The night will also celebrate Lunar New Year with sweets, decorations and activities.
