NIU’s Committee on the Improvement of Undergraduate Education has extended the deadline for applications for the David W. Raymond Grant for Use of Technology in Teaching until Monday, Feb. 29.
A member of the first Board of Trustees at NIU, Raymond established this award in 1998 to provide faculty with an incentive and some resources to develop innovative uses of technology in future teaching.
The recipient of the award is expected to discuss and demonstrate the project in a public presentation later this semester. This presentation will contribute to faculty knowledge of the benefits, pitfalls and outcomes of technology in teaching.
Only tenured and tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply. Applications are available online.
