NIU students, faculty and staff need warm weather gear, and NIU’s Financial Cents program wants to help.
Members of the NIU community are asked to come together to provide coats, hats, gloves and more for the winter season. Drop-off locations across campus are located in the Holmes Student Center, the Campus Life Building (by University Honors), Founders Memorial Library and the Academic Advising Center building near the parking deck.
Students, faculty or staff who are in need of warm weather gear can feel free to stop by the Office of Student Academic Success (Academic Advising Center Room 113) to look through items. No questions will be asked; visitors are free to take whatever they need.
The drive will run from Monday, Nov. 30, through April 1. At that time, all remaining items will be donated to a local organization in need.
