‘Unveiling Beauty’

Jancy Thomas talks about "Unveiling Beauty."Pop, soul and rock musician Hana Kim will visit NIU’s Duke Ellington Ballroom at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, to inspire and encourage as many individuals to join the fight against human trafficking through the use of their unique gifts.

The Asian American Center will host “Unveiling Beauty: Human Trafficking US & Asia.”

All students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to attend.

Kim’s recently released single, “Heaven Sees Me,” written to raise awareness and spur the fight against human trafficking, has received particular attention. Through the release of “Heaven Sees Me,” Kim has partnered with various organizations and artists such as Saving Innocence, Justice Speaks, Yellow Conference and others.
