Perhaps the best thing about the new site design is the Knowledge Base. The IT search looks at the DoIT website and the Knowledge Base to bring you “what is,” “how to” and “where is” answers to questions about IT at NIU.
The Knowledge Base was developed in response to the Office 365 project. As project team members found answers to questions, they wanted a place to put them where they could find them again, and where others could find them. The solution was the Knowledge Base. Since then, the Knowledge Base has expanded beyond Office 365 to IT services.
At the bottom of each knowledge article you can suggest keywords, corrections and request new articles.
