NIU’s 23rd annual NIU Study Abroad Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom of the Holmes Student Center.
The Study Abroad Fair provides information on how to study abroad and highlights many programs offered through the Study Abroad Office.
Students can talk with study abroad alumni about their study abroad experiences and how they made their study abroad dreams a reality. Faculty members and independent providers also will be available to discuss their respective study abroad programs.
Representatives from NIU Student Financial Aid will be on hand to discuss the opportunities available to fund studying abroad.
Unable to attend the fair? The Study Abroad Office offers a general information session, “Study Abroad 101: First Steps to Study Abroad,” which is presented at 3:30 p.m. every Wednesday and Thursday in the NIU Study Abroad Office (Williston Hall 417). Walk-in appointments are encouraged.
