The Operating Staff Council’s Workplace Issues Committee is sponsoring a brown-bag series titled “Steer Your Career.”
All sessions will be over the noon hour in the Blackhawk Annex of the Holmes Student Center.
- Wednesday, May 13: “Résumé Today, Job Tomorrow” will will show you how to “refresh” your résumé. Gail Jacky of the University Writing Center is the presenter.
- Thursday, May 21: “Moving on Up” will focus on the State of Illinois Civil Service System employment and testing rules and procedures. Rhonda Wybourn and Rose Miller of Human Resource Services are the presenters.
- Wednesday, May 27: “How to Expand Your Horizons” will focus on NIU current benefits for employees to help further their education and will identify resources available to employees.
