NIU’s College of Health and Human Sciences and university mascot Mission will host a “Mission to Health Walk” at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 28.
Members of the college’s “Healthy Huskies” student group planned the event as a way to de-stress before final exams, which begin Saturday, May 2.
The walk will begin in front of Wirtz Hall, travel around the East Lagoon and end at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Commons, where the group will provide healthy snacks, stress-reduction activities and free stress balls.
Mission will walk the entire route; the rain date is Wednesday, April 29.
