Northern Illinois University invites alumni Tuesday, March 10, to its annual regional event in Washington, D.C., for a networking opportunity at the National Press Club.
Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and will hear about NIU initiatives from Joseph Matty, associate vice president of the Division of University Advancement and executive director of the NIU Alumni Association.
Some of NIU’s best and brightest political science students also will be there to meet alumni and learn about their experiences.
The event is free for dues-paying alumni members and costs $25 for nonmembers. Registration is available online or by calling (815) 753-1452.
