Sept. 20 LEAD Summit offers leadership concepts, networking

September 10, 2014

NIU student leadersNIU’s LEAD Summit is one of NIU’s premiere professional conferences for students and provides great opportunities to attend various leadership related workshops, hear from a national keynote speaker and network with other student leaders and professionals.

Scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, the event is free for all undergraduate students and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

Check in begins at 8 a.m.

Students who participate in the LEAD Summit will gain a better appreciation for leadership concepts, recognize how to further develop their own personal leadership identity and learn how to incorporate leadership skills in any organizations in which they participate, both now and in the future.

Members of fraternities and sororities will enjoy a program specifically designed track for Greek students.

The LEAD Summit is fun, interactive and an excellent way to build professional networking relationships with other great leaders. In previous years, student leaders have described the summit as an extremely influential and monumental experience in their personal and professional growth here at NIU.

Students can register online. Register today; spots are filling fast.
