NIU-Arkansas game Sept. 20 set for 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPNU

Kickoff time for Northern Illinois University’s Sept. 20 football game versus the Arkansas Razorbacks has been set for 6 p.m. (CT) from Arkansas’ Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The game will be televised on ESPNU, and available online and on mobile devices via WatchESPN and WatchESPN.com.

The Mid-American Conference and television partner ESPN will release remaining game times for Saturday contests this year 12 days in advance of each game.

The kickoff times for the Huskies’ home contests versus Kent State on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, Oct. 18th will be announced on Monday, Sept. 22 and Monday, Oct. 6, respectively. NIU’s Saturday, Oct. 11, homecoming game versus Central Michigan will kickoff at 4 p.m.; the 2014 home season finale versus Toledo kicks off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

NIU’s last appearance on ESPNU was Sept. 1, 2012, versus Iowa when the Huskies fell 18-17 to the Hawkeyes at Soldier Field in Chicago. All-time, the Huskies are 5-3 on ESPNU.

The 2-0 Huskies travel Saturday, Sept. 13, to Las Vegas to take on the UNLV Rebels. That game kicks off at 6 p.m. (CT) from UNLV’s Sam Boyd Stadium. Fans can watch the game online for free via the Mountain West Network/Campus Insiders. Visit www.campusinsiders.com or www.unlvrebels.com. The Huskie Sports Network broadcast of the game begins at 5:30 p.m. and can be heard on 560 AM The Answer in Chicago and on 92.5 WCPT FM in DeKalb, or online via NIUTube.
