Do you want to become an involved student leader? Would you like the opportunity to improve your leadership skills? If so, enroll in Student Involvement & Leadership Development’s (SILD) Leadership Academy.
The Leadership Academy is a three-tiered, self-paced leadership program; participants can complete the activities as their schedules allow.
Staff members in SILD have spent the summer revamping the Leadership Academy and have officially unveiled this improved program. The new Leadership Academy features a developmental tiered system that includes Personal Leadership, Campus & Community Leadership and Leadership Culmination.
Through the Leadership Academy, students have the opportunity to join organizations, attend workshops, write reflections, participate in community service, become a mentor, and much more. The Leadership Academy is fun and looks great on a resume.
The Leadership Academy also hosts various workshops each semester. Students currently in the Leadership Academy and students who have not yet joined are encouraged to attend these workshops.
All are sponsored by Student Involvement & Leadership Development and take place in Room 100 of the Campus Life Building.
