DeKalb County Community Gardens will hold its annual Local Flavors Harvest Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28.
Supporters who attend the fundraiser can back the work of the community gardens while they enjoy a menu created by Chef Chad of Tapa La Luna. This is the only event with food locally sourced from DeKalb County or within a 25 miles radius.
Craig Mathey will provide the music.

DeKalb County Community Gardens depends on the support of the community in the work of providing access to fresh, healthy produce to those in need in county.
With gardens in more than 40 locations, the group has provided access to fresh food for hundreds of DeKalb County residents. This year, the organization is on track to provide more than 20,000 pounds of fresh vegetables to close the food gap.
DCCG also provides volunteer opportunities to more than 300 residents per year.
