Last year, NIU became the first Mid-American Conference team to defeat two Big Ten teams on the road in the same season. Tickets for the Northwestern game are $40.

Following the match up with the Wildcats, NIU heads to the fabulous city of Las Vegas for a match up against UNLV of the Mountain West Sept. 13. The Huskies conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule with a trip to Southeastern Conference foe Arkansas. Tickets for the game at UNLV are $35, while the Sept. 20 Arkansas contest is $45.

The Huskies’ will be traveling to Eastern Michigan (Oct. 25), Ball State (Nov. 5), Ohio (Nov. 18) and Western Michigan (Nov. 28). Tickets for the Eastern Michigan and Ohio games are $15, while Ball State tickets are $27 and tickets for the post-Thanksgiving game with Western Michigan are $25.

All home single game tickets go on sale Monday, July 14. Season tickets are still available and continue to rank among the best entertainment values in Chicagoland at a cost of just $110 for all five home games. Members of the NIU Alumni Association, senior citizens and NIU faculty and staff receive a $15 discount on every season ticket.

NIU’s 26-game home winning streak at Huskie Stadium leads the nation as the Huskies have not dropped a home game since 2009. NIU opens the 2014 season Thursday, Aug. 28, at home against Presbyterian. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. Huskie players report for preseason camp Friday, Aug. 1.
