Northern Illinois University’s Orientation and the Huskie Family Connections programs will combine into one department as of Tuesday, July 1. Abbey Wolfman will serve as director of Orientation & Family Connections, overseeing the combined department, which is now located in the Holmes Student Center.
“We are excited about this merger and the opportunities it will present Orientation and Family Connections,” said NIU Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Eric Weldy. “It will allow us to work more closely with students and families together as they transition to and matriculate through the university.”
