Alpine Trust & Investment group has hired Chris Johnson as vice president and trust officer at its Belvidere office, 600 S. State St.

A graduate of DeKalb High School, Johnson received both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his Masters of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University.
Johnson has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial field, with 16 of those years in trusts and investments. According to the Alpine website, his role in assisting clients is to “make them feel confident about their financial future and wellbeing. He wants them to know that no matter what life may throw at them, the Alpine Family will be with them every step of the way.”
Johnson has been involved in countless organizations throughout the years. Most recently, he served on an advisory board for the Salvation Army and held officer positions in Kiwanis. He also held officer positions for various sports clubs, including travel soccer and hockey.
