NIU’s Pi Sigma Epsilon chapter turns heads at 2014 national convention

PSE/Gamma Zeta logoNIU’s Gamma Zeta chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon recently competed on the national level against 40 other chapters and was awarded for its outstanding performance.

Members of the Gamma Zeta chapter gave on-site oral presentations and placed second overall in three competitions: Top Marketing Project, Top Management Team and Top Gold Chapter.

The chapter, which also was selected as a finalist for Top Sales Project, was presented with the Sustained Excellence Award. Two individual members earned $1,500 scholarships.

“Many people now know the caliber the Gamma Zeta chapter,” said Jon Salvani, national president.

Pi Sigma Epsilon is the only national, professional, coeducational fraternity in marketing, sales management, and selling. Founded in 1952, it offers practical sales and marketing experience to members through active involvement in sales and marketing projects, marketing research, professional programs community service, social events and more.
