Transfer Overnight ExperienceTwenty-five prospective students from various community colleges participated, calling it a meaningful and exciting event. Twenty-two current NIU students volunteered to meet with the prospective students and participate in the event activities together.

“This was an exciting event and opportunity for prospective transfer students to come explore what NIU has to offer and see what it’s like to be a student at NIU,” said NIU Transfer Center Coordinator Andrew Hlubek.

“It was inspiring to see the positive interaction between both current NIU students and prospective transfer students. I believe they both walked away from the event having learned a lot about NIU.”
