Anderko will talk at 2 p.m. in Wirtz Hall 103A on “Public Health Issues in a Changing Climate.”
Nationally known for her environmental work, Anderko earned her Master of Science in nursing with a specialty in community health from NIU. She also holds a Ph.D. in public health and B.S. in nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Anderko, the Robert and Kathleen Scanlon Endowed Chair in Values Based Health Care at Georgetown University’s School of Nursing & Health Studies, also has been honored by the White House as a Champion of Change.
