2 Chainz
The NIU Campus Activities Board and Convocation Center have partnered to present Def Jam artist 2 Chainz at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Special guests are to be determined; the Campus Activities Board will host a talent search for the opening acts. More information will be announced at a later date.
From College Park, Ga., 2 Chainz is one half of Playaz Circle, the rap duo formerly of Ludacris’ DTP Records. His most successful single to date is the first single off of Playaz Circle’s debut album Supply and Demand “Duffle Bag Boy” featuring Lil’ Wayne.
2 Chainz is currently working to build his own label imprint, T.R.U, The Real University.
Tickets for 2 Chainz go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28. General admission floor tickets are $37. All other tickets are reserved and are $30 or $25.
Tickets can be purchased at the NIU Convocation Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000. NIU students get a $10 discount with valid NIU OneCards at the Convo box office (limit two tickets).
