The Northern Illinois University Alumni Association invites alumni and friends to its regional event in Washington, D.C., from 5:30 to 8 p.m. March 11 at The National Press Club.
Meet U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly, 2nd Congressional District of Illinois, who will be attending as a special guest, network with fellow alumni and learn how NIU is advancing to guarantee student career success.
New initiatives and plans for a bold future at NIU will be shared by Lisa Freeman, interim executive vice president and provost; Joe Matty, executive director of the NIU Alumni Association; and Lesley Rigg, interim vice president for research and graduate studies.
An open bar and unlimited appetizers will be provided at The National Press Club, located at 529 14th St. NW.
