Faculty and Staff:
Per established procedures, essential service areas will continue operations in order to meet the needs of our students and to maintain campus security, utilities and snow removal. Essential personnel should contact their supervisors if they need overnight accommodations at the DeKalb campus.
During winter months, all students, faculty and staff are urged to use caution and personal judgment in their travels to and from campus and to dress appropriately for protection from cold temperatures and wind chills.
The NIU website will be updated as necessary to provide the latest information in the event of a change in the university’s operational status.
