NIU’s David C. Shapiro Memorial Law Library will extend its hours for reading period and final exams, beginning Monday, Dec. 2, and ending Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The library will open from 7:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to midnight Friday, from 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday.
- New this year: The law library will remain open to university and community patrons until 6 p.m. each day from Dec. 2 through Dec. 17; after 6 p.m., however, non-College of Law patrons will be asked to leave.
SCHEDULE AFTER FINAL EXAMS
Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, and Friday, Dec. 20.
The library is closed from Saturday, Dec. 21, through Wednesday, Jan. 1.
January hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, and Friday, Jan. 3, and from Monday, Jan. 6, through Friday, Jan. 10. The library is closed Saturday, Jan. 4, and Saturday, Jan. 11. It is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, and from 1 o 10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12.
Regular semester hours resume Monday, Jan. 13.
