M Cecil Smith
A farewell party is planned from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, for M Cecil Smith.
Smith, a professor in the Department of Leadership, Educational Psychology and Foundations, has taught at NIU for 25 years. He is the faculty adviser to the NIU Graduate Student Research Association and co-founder and faculty associate of the Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Language & Literacy.
The party will take place in the Thurgood Marshall Gallery of Swen Parson Hall. A brief program will begin at 4:30 p.m.
