The Supportive Professional Staff (SPS) Council will host a spring tailgate tent Saturday, April 13, beginning at 11:30 a.m. on the west side of Huskie Stadium.
Three different home games are slated for that afternoon. Cheer on your favorite, or check out all three.
- Men’s Baseball – 1 p.m.
- Women’s Softball – 2 p.m.
- Football Spring Scrimmage – 2:30 p.m. (including the raising of the Orange Bowl flag!)
SPS members will provide traditional tailgate fare (hot dogs, iced tea and all the usual in between). RSVP by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, for the tailgate. Those who sign up to eat pay at the event.
This is family-friendly event with three quality games to watch, a collection of “inflatables” provided by Athletics, a meet-and-greet/run the bases with the ball players and certainly room enough to bring baseball mitts and Nerf balls for games of catch or to play some bags.
This event is open to all members of the NIU community.
