The NIU Community School of the Arts will begin a packed spring semester next week with classes, ensembles and private lessons for all ages.
Need scholarships are available to people with children younger than 18. Scholarship application forms are due Monday, Jan. 14, and are available online.
Announcements of awards are made within one week of the application deadline.
A few of the highlights on tap for this semester are Art Express for ages 4 to 12 (free for children of staff, students and faculty); Prelude and Development classes for ages 1 to 5 and Theatre Boot Camp for ages 7 to 12.
