The film weaves together the personal stories of individuals hurt by agents of the Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) office during the raid on a meatpacking plant in Postville, Iowa.
The film reveals the brutal tactics of U.S. immigration agents and the devastating impact on families. “abUSed: The Postville Raid” presents the human face of immigration, reveals the socioeconomic forces which fuel it and serves as a cautionary tale against government abuses.
The event is free to the public. Elote (corn in a cup) will be sold prior to the showing.
