New and returning students and community members all are invited this weekend to DeKalb’s annual Corn Fest event, located at the Taylor Municipal Airport. NIU is providing convenient transportation to and from the festival throughout the weekend.
Weekend activities include an Air Fest with biplane and helicopter rides in addition to a B-25 Bomber, an auto fest, bus tours, corn boil, kids art fest, carnival, bike rally, 3K walk and 10K run plus live music.
The soundstage acts include Shuvlhed, PK & the Grove, Red Woody, Dot Dot Dot, Hi-Infidelity, Route 38, Back Country Roads, Neal McCoy and more.
Bus transportation is scheduled to be provided Friday from 2:30 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 10 a.m. until approximately 6:30 p.m.
