NIU’s fifth annual Assessment Expo is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday, March 2, in the Holmes Student Center Sky Room.
The Assessment Expo is designed to highlight successful assessment practices on campus.
“This expo will be a celebration of the successes of NIU Assessment Services,” said Carolinda Douglass, assistant vice provost for Academic Outcomes and Assessment. “It will include students, faculty and staff.”
The theme for this year’s expo is “Keeping it Going, Making it Better: Sustaining Assessment Practices and Involving Students in Assessment.”
This year’s topics will focus on how departments and units have maintained successful assessment practices over time and how they have involved students in assessment.
