Dodgeball leagues invite new teams

Person playing dodgeballDodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge — the good old “Five D’s” to being successful in the game of dodgeball.

Men’s, women’s and co-rec leagues are being offered to students. Also, A (competitive) and B (recreational) leagues will be offered.

Dodgeball  is a two-week season, and every team will be scheduled for two games per week.

The registration fee play in the competitive or recreational league is $35 per team. Register soon as the leagues are filling up fast; the deadline is 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Intramural sports provide quality recreation experiences for NIU student, faculty and staff Campus Recreation members.

The program emphasizes participation and fun through tournaments, leagues, and special events while fostering a healthy spirit of competition, sportsmanship, teamwork and friendships. Whether you were a varsity star, a fifth-string quarterback or have never participated in a sport, the intramural sports program is the perfect way to be active and involved, meet new people and have fun.
