‘Snow’ kidding: Winter makes late, loud arrival

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for moderate to heavy snow and blowing snow for NIU-Naperville (DuPage County) and NIU-Hoffman Estates (Cook County) until 9 a.m. CST Friday.

NIU’s main campus in DeKalb, as well as NIU-Rockford and the Lorado Taft Field Campus remain under a Winter Weather Advisory for falling and blowing snow until 4 a.m. Friday CST Friday.

During these winter months, all students, faculty and staff are urged to use caution and personal judgment in their travels to and from campus and to dress appropriately for protection from cold temperatures and wind chills.
